Telesat sales improve on favourable exchange rates

Canadian satellite operator Telesat posted CAD 235 million of revenue in the March quarter, up 3 percent on the year-earlier period, including a favourable impact from 12 percent US Dollar appreciation 12 months.  Adjusted for changes in foreign exchange rates, Telesat's revenue declined by 1 percent, primarily from lower revenue in the energy and resource sector. Adjusted EBITDA rose 3 percent to CAD 191 million, an increase of 3 percent compared to the same period in 2015.
