Telfort to again work with De Burtcamping this year

Dutch provider Telfort will again join forces with Stichting De Buurtcamping this year to facilitate meetings between people. The Telfort tent will be a meeting place at every Buurtcamping, so that local residents will be able to meet people outside their own 'bubble'. For example, each camper met an average of 11 new people in 2017, 86 percent of whom would not have met in daily life.

In 2013, De Buurtcamping started with 1 campsite from initiator Roderik Schaepman. The foundation has since then grown to 19 campsites throughout the Netherlands. At De Buurtcamping, one third of the tent pitches for paying neighbors, one third for volunteers and one third for families who cannot go on holiday for financial reasons.
