Telia donates proxy pupil robots to young patients in Copenhagen hospital

Telia Denmark said it is donating two social robots to the children's clinic at Copenhagen's Rigshospitalet to enable young patients with chronic illnesses to keep up with their education and stay in touch with their schoolmates. The robot is called the AV1 and is made by Norwegian technology firm No Isolation. AV1 enables pupils facing a long stay in hospital to see and hear what is going on in their classroom, and take part in lessons.
