Telia says average Dane throws away 24 kg of electronics per year, starts phone trade-ins

The average Dane throws away 24 kg of electronics annually, only half of which is either recycled or destroyed in a responsible manner, according Telia Denmark. The operator has announced a phone trade-in scheme at its shops, with customers receiving from DKK 20 to DKK 3,000 to deduct from the price of a new handset. The scheme runs in conjunction with the organisations Redeem and Replace.
