TeliaSonera Norway names Maxis' Foss as CEO from 01 June

TeliaSonera Norway said it is appointing Abraham Foss as its CEO on 01 June, joining the company from Maxis Berhad of Malaysia, where he has been leading the enterprise segment and wholesale operations. Acting CEO Charlotta Rehman will then return to her role as VP Business Development & Wholesale. Foss said he is looking forward to the task of developing the new TeliaSonera Norway following its merger with Tele2's Norwegian operations. Tele2 Norway CEO Arild Hustad is looking for new opportunities elsewhere following the merger. Among his other roles, Foss led Telenor Business in Norway from
