TeliaSonera refutes story it is blindly pulling out of Nepal

TeliaSonera said it conducted extensive due diligence and background checks on the companies and parties involved in its pullout of Nepal. The operator made the statement in response to a report on 17 February in Svenska Dagbladet which accused the company of being unaware of the identity of one of its buyers in the diverstment of its operations in Nepal. TeliaSonera said due diligence was conducted using both inhouse and external expertise.
