Telkom announces new SmartPhone plans

Wednesday 22 July 2015 | 11:30 CET | News
South Africa's Telkom has announced four new SmartPhone plans, offering customers three times the value of the plan they purchase. The Smartphone Basic package allows customers to pay ZAR 50 and receive 150 MB of data, 150 SMS and 150 voice minutes. This is made up of 50 minutes for Telkom mobile calls, another 50 minutes for Telkom fixed-line calls, and the remaining 50 minutes for use to other networks. Someone who makes calls to Telkom fixed-line numbers more often than other types, can top up just with the minutes of the same calling type rather than going out of bundle.
