Telkom expands LTE-A to 22 more suburbs nationwide

Telkom said it has expanded its LTE Advanced (LTE-A) network to another 22 suburbs across South Africa. The expansion will cover areas in greater Johannesburg, the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Tshwane. The LTE-A technology runs on the 2.3 GHz spectrum, which is unique to Telkom. The current network configuration supports downlink speeds of up to 150 Mbps.
