Telkom Kenya records 50% jump in data use, residential areas see most growth

Telkom Kenya has recorded a 50 percent spike in data consumption on its network, following weeks of significant increase in use of its home products and other tailored data services, as people stay home to reduce the spread of Covid-19. CEO Mugo Kibati said business owners, employees, teachers, students and professionals must now minimise their movement but still meet their contractual, business or educational obligations.
