Telkom Kenya reviews tariffs for T-Kash

Tuesday 9 March 2021 | 10:08 CET | News
Telkom Kenya has reviewed tariffs for its mobile money service T-Kash and says all Person-to-Person transactions below KES 100 will remain zero-rated. Compared with Telkom's pre-pandemic tariffs, T-kash tariffs have been reduced in the "send to registered off-net" category in the transaction bands KES 101 to KES 500, KES 501 to KES 1,000 and KES 1,501 to KES 2,500. Last year, the charges had been waived to encourage use of mobile money and other forms of cashless payments to minimise use of physical cash in light of the pandemic.
