Telkom Kenya seeks court order against EACC assets probe

Tuesday 17 March 2020 | 09:13 CET | News
Telkom Kenya is seeking a court order to stop the anti-graft agency from interfering with its properties ahead of the firm's merger with Airtel Kenya, Business Daily reported. In a lawsuit filed at the High Court, Telkom sued the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) claiming that the agency is demanding a list of its properties. Telkom wants the EACC barred from restricting, limiting or otherwise interfering with its property as well as accessing a list of its properties and recalling or suspending any of them pending the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
