Telkom to launch wholesale FTTH in December

South Africa's fixed line operator Telkom will launch a residential wholesale fibre broadband product on 1 December. The company added that the first fibres will be lit and Telkom will have a fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) presence in 23 suburbs by the time it launches, MyBroadband reported. Previously Telkom said there were suburbs around South Africa in Gauteng, the Western Cape, and KwaZulu-Natal where it would be offering home fibre services.
