Telkomsel to demonstrate 5G services at Asian Games

Indonesian operator Telkomsel will launch a driverless bus at the 2018 Asian Games at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) sport complex to promote its new 5G technology. Equipped with various sensors with real-time connection, Telkomsel's autonomous bus will run on a looping route through the GBK complex, The Jakarta Post reports, citing Ivan Permana, VP of Telkomsel's next generation network task force. The autonomous bus was developed by Telkomsel and ST Engineering.
