Telma to invest USD 250 million in Madagascar

Groupe Axian, the majority shareholder in Telma Madagascar, has committed to invest USD 250 million over three years to improve the network infrastructure on the island, reports L'Express de Madagascar. The announcement was made by one of the company's main shareholders, Hassanein Hiridjee, during a presentation in Paris. The new funds cover the 2017-2019 period and will be used to deploy 11,000 km of fibre cables.
