America Movil expects its Mexican unit Telmex to finally receive a licence from telecommunications regulator IFT to launch a pay-TV service in the country before the end of 2021, reports El Financiero, citing the group's CEO Daniel Hajj. "There is not a telephone company in the world that does not have a pay-TV license," said Hajj following publication of the company's second-quarter earnings, adding that "I hope we can get that licence this year."
