Telstra achieves 300 Mbps in LTE-A trial

Australian telecommunications provider Telstra has conducted an LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation trial. By aggregating two channels of 20 MHz spectrum, the company achieved download speeds of up to 300 Mbps. The trial was conducted using a commercial test device and aggregating 20 MHz bandwidth within the 1,800 MHz spectrum band and 20 MHz bandwidth within the 2,600 MHz band.
