Telstra, Ericsson, Qualcomm achieve 450 Mbps for LTE-A

Monday 24 November 2014 | 15:53 CET | News
Ericsson has announced it has completed the commercialisation milestone for the end-to-end LTE-A Carrier Aggregation system capable of supporting data speeds up to 450 Mbps. This milestone builds on the May demonstration of the same speed by Ericsson and Telstra, achieved with a user test device in Telstra's commercial network. LTE-A Carrier Aggregation enables operators to use spectrum more efficiently to deliver a better user experience to customers wherever they are in their networks.
