Telstra has introduced a wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) platform. The Telstra Wireless M2M Control Centre providing businesses and government organisations with a self-managed portal for a range of M2M-based products that will use Telstra's Next G network for wireless internet connectivity. Telstra has entered into an exclusive, multi-year agreement with M2M technology provider Jasper Wireless to power the Wireless M2M Control Centre. As part of this launch, Telstra will also make available a new Wireless M2M Developer Kit which will be supplied with a set of Sim cards enabled with a trial data and SMS allowance to help customers test and develop their wireless M2M solution.
