Telstra secures five 700 MHz devices

Australian telecommunications provider Telstra has secured five LTE devices for its 700 MHz network. The new devices include two smartphones, two dongles, and a Wi-Fi hotspot device and support download speeds of up to 300 Mbps, The Australian writes. The smartphones are supplied by HTC and Samsung, two Wi-Fi dongles are supplied by ZTE and Netgear, while Huawei will supply its WiFi 4G Advanced Pro X, a Cat6 device. Although Telstra has yet to turn on its 700 MHz service, the devices will be available within the next couple of months.
