Telstra to contact customers with slow NBN speeds, offer remedy

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) has announced that Telstra and Belong customers that upgraded to higher-speed NBN plans will be contacted if they are not getting the maximum speed available under the plan. Under a November 2017 court-enforceable undertaking, Telstra was required to check customers' broadband speeds if they were using NBN via FTTN or FTTB connections. If a customer does not receive the maximum speeds promised under their plan, Telstra is required to inform the customer of the maximum speeds attainable, and offer a remedy if the customer wanted to
