Telxius says Mistral subsea cable along LatAm coast is ready for service

Telefonica's infrastructure subsidiary Telxius has announced that its new Mistral submarine cable connecting Guatemala with Southern Chile is ready to enter service. The 7,300 km cable, developed with Claro (America Movil) and designed and built by SubCom, has 132 Tbps of potential capacity and is the first such connection in the region in 20 years.
