Testra to restructure, flags job cuts

Telstra will restructure its operations and IT divisions and to cut costs for its fixed-line division. Telstra will create five new groups, with three new groups: IT solutions, networks, and customer service delivery, The Australia reports. The two other groups remain as NBN and network applications and services. As part of the restructure, hundreds of jobs are expected to go. The new operating model will come into effect on July 1.
