Comcast reached a deal with Texas Southern University (TSU) and Clark Atlanta University (CAU) to offer their students with access to its Xfinity On Campus service. With this new service, students can now watch live TV, On Demand and recorded content on their IP-enabled devices, including laptops, tablets, smartphones and Roku players. The service is included with room and board and available to students living in on-campus housing.

Xfinity On Campus offers approximately 80 live channels including every major broadcast network as well as channels like Bravo, ESPN, FX and MTV through Comcast’s Xfinity Stream app and portal. The service also includes access to thousands of current TV shows and hit movies via Xfinity On Demand. Students can use the Xfinity Stream app away from campus to login and access TV Everywhere programming that’s part of their subscription.

Students have the option to upgrade their Xfinity on Campus accounts to include a selection of premium channels including HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and Starz as well as the Sports Entertainment Package.

CAU is the sixth institute of higher learning in Atlanta to launch Xfinity on Campus.
