Thailand to launch THB 15 bln village broadband project

Thailand's Digital Economy and Society Ministry will next week submit a THB 15 billion village broadband internet project to the Cabinet. The project is scheduled for launch across 24,700 villages in 2017, The Nation reports. If approved by the Cabinet, the ministry will transfer the THB 15 billion budget to Thai state-owned operator TOT.
