Third of Dutch use smart health apps

A third of Dutch consumers use a smart health product or app, according to a survey by Multiscope among 6,000 consumers. Already 34 percent say they use apps to keep track of their health or fitness. Most of the users (56%) use an app to register health details. Three-quarters said they don't pay for such apps. Consumers mainly keep track of sport and movement information (20%) and nutrition and weight (18%) with the apps. Among sport users, the most common data on the apps is distance covered/speed (67%) and calorie burn (52%). The survey also found that three in ten consumers use wearables
