Third of US mobile customers make device or plan purchase in non-carrier stores

US customers who make a purchase in a carrier-owned store are more satisfied with their sales representative but non-carrier websites are more user-friendly, according to research by J.D. Power on the mobile service purchase experience. Despite experiencing lower levels of customer satisfaction, one-third of wireless customers make device or plan purchases in non-carrier retail stores.
