Three quarters of Austrian consumers is not familar with LTE

Austrians use fixed broadband the most the access internet with 71 percent on a daily basis, followed by 27 percent using mobile internet via PCs or laptops, according to a study executed by marketagent.com for T-Mobile Austria, which was unveiled at the launch of its commercial LTE service. The survey also found that 24 percent of Austrians uses their smartphone to access internet and 5 percent uses their tablet PCs via mobile internet. The most used function while being online via mobile data networks is internet surfing with 90 percent, followed by sending and reading e-mails with 84
