Three-quarters of Dutch don't secure smartphone

Three-quarters of Dutch smartphone users don't have any security system on their phone, according to research by the Telecompaper Consumer Panel. AVG showed the highest penetration, used by 12 percent of Dutch smartphone owners, followed by Avast with 5 percent and McAfee at 4 percent. Older people were more likely to have a security app installed than younger people. Among over-65s, 16 percent used AVG and 11 percent Avast.
