Three-quarters of Germans stream video online - survey

More than three quarters (76%) of all internet users in Germany aged 14 or older stream videos online, according to a survey conducted on behalf of IT association Bitkom. This is equivalent to about 42 million people, an increase of 2 million compared to last year. Some 91 percent of the respondents in the age groups 14-29 and 30-49 stream videos. Among participants aged between 50 and 64, the percentage was 60, and only 28 percent of internet users older than 64 stream video.
