Tieto finds low Scandinavian Right to be Forgotten awareness

Wednesday 24 May 2017 | 11:47 CET | News
Finnish software company Tieto said that seven out of ten people are worried about internet security and more than one out of ten has been subject to a data breach. A survey that it commissioned from SIFO found that eight out of ten people in Sweden and Finland and five out of ten in Norway would now consider erasing their customer data from companies' data registers. Only one out of ten is aware of the possibility provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which takes effect in a year's time, on 25 May 2018.
