Tigo Bolivia hits 1 mln households passed milestone

Bolivian operator Tigo (Millicom) has reached the milestone of 1 million connected homes in the country following a USD 650 million investment to expand its coaxial fibre optic network in recent years, reports local daily Los Tiempos, citing country director Pablo Guardia. 'We have managed to expand coverage to seven of nine departments and we continue to grow," said Guardia, adding that "we're one of the main drivers of high-speed connectivity and home TV growth."
