Tigo Costa Rica to invest USD 30 mln this year

Monday 19 February 2018 | 11:18 CET | News
Tigo (Millicom) is set to invest USD 30 million in Costa Rica this year to substantially expand coverage, double broadband speed and bring DTT to all its customers, reports La Republica, citing the operator's corporate affairs director Norman Chavez. The investment is broadly in line with the company's recent annual capex and is aimed at consolidating its position ahead of the arrival of Liberty Latin America, which recently acquired 80 percent of Costa Rican cable operator Cabletica.
