Tigo Tanzania launches LTE in Moshi

Friday 26 February 2016 | 09:23 CET | News
Tigo Tanzania has introduced LTE technology for Moshi Municipality. Northern Zone Director George Lugata said the decision comes after the company recorded impressive growth with the new technology in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Tanga, Dodoma and Morogoro. Lugata noted that by switching from 3G to 4G service, Tigo customers would receive speeds as much as five times more than they used to. The director said swapping Sims from 3G to 4G is free of charge and the cost of bundles used in both technologies are the same.
