Tigo Tanzania takes over Zantel

Tigo Tanzania has announced the completion of the combination with its sister company, Zantel, in an undisclosed deal. After receipt of approval from the relevant authorities, the transfer of ownership of the shares in Zantel to Tigo is now complete. The companies will combine their operations in the mainland and in Zanzibar.
