TikTok agrees to check age of all Italian users after girl's death

Chinese video-sharing app TikTok has accepted that it needs to re-check the age of all Italian users and block those who are under 13, confirmed Italy's data protection authority, Garante Privacy, in a statement. The move follows the accidental death by asphyxiation of a 10-year-old girl who allegedly took part in a social media challenge.
