TikTok faces new privacy lawsuit in Netherlands claiming EUR 6 bln in damages

Another damages claim against TikTik has been filed in the Netherlands. The Stichting Massaschade & Consument, a non-profit collective action group for consumers, is calling for damages for the around 4.5 million TikTok users in the country for illegal collection and transfer of their personal data by the app. The group wants TikTok to pay between EUR 1,250 and EUR 1,750 per person, based on their age.
