TikTok facing potential class action suit in US over collection of user data

TikTok is facing a potential class-action suit in the US from consumers who claim the company is collecting their personal data without proper consent. Dozens of minors, through their parents, are alleging that the video-sharing app collects information about their facial characteristics, locations and close contacts, and quietly sends that data to servers in China, NPR reports.
