Tiktok mulls changes to business to distance from China

Bytedance said it's considering to make changes to the corporate structure of its TikTok business as US concerns grow over the parent company's Chinese origins, according to Bloomberg citing a person familiar with the discussions. The move comes after Donald Trump said on 7 July that his administration is considering banning the short-video and music app in the US as one possible way to respond to China's poor handling of the coronavirus situation.
