TIM Brasil assigned AAA rating at Fitch

Thursday 19 November 2020 | 14:05 CET | News
Credit rating agency Fitch assigned TIM Brasil an initial long-term rating of AAA(bra), with a stable outlook, the company announced. According to Fitch, the rating reflects the operator's strong business profile, supported by its relevant participation in the mobile telephony sector, as well as the conservative financial metrics, with reduced financial leverage and robust liquidity position. Fitch expects that TIM will present growing cash flow from operations and that it is prepared to deal with the competitive and regulated telecommunications sector in Brazil.
