TIM Brasil, Ericsson and Qualcomm launch 5G standalone tests

TIM Brasil, Ericsson, Motorola and Qualcomm Technologies have announced support for the Ericsson Carrier Aggregation feature of 5G wireless between the FDD and TDD bands in Standalone mode. The Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Pro smartphones support the 5G CA NR (Carrier Aggregation New Radio) feature in 5G Standalone and are already commercially available in TIM's portfolio. The feature may be commercially activated by TIM after the bidding for 5G spectrum by Anatel is completed.
