TIM Brasil invests more than BRL 1 billion in infrastructure

TIM Brasil invested over BRL 1.2 billion in the past quarter, of which BRL 1 billion in infrastructure, mainly 3G and 4G networks. This supported 11 percent annual growth in the post-paid customer base, which now represents 18 percent of total customers, with the addition of more than 1.3 million new lines in the past 12 months. The number of 4G users totaled 3.8 million at the end of June, an almost four-fold increase compared to the same period in 2014. The penetration of smartphones in the total customer base reached 59 percent. With more connected customers, TIM saw a 45 percent increase
