TIM brings 200Mbps fibre to Tuscan coastal towns

Telecom Italia (TIM) has announced that it will be expanding its fibre-optic network to the towns of Tirrenia, Marina di Pisa and San Piero a Grado in the Pisa province of Tuscany in a total investment of around EUR 500,000. The FTTC service will be activated next month in around 4,000 households after 22 kilometres of cable were rolled out to connect 32 street cabinets, giving customers access to the internet at speeds of up to 200Mbps.
