TIM 'concurs' with Italian cabinet's special powers decree

Telecom Italia (TIM) has announced that it received notification of the Italian cabinet's approval of the so-called "golden power" decree to impose a series of requirements and conditions on the company in view of its strategic importance. The operator said it "concurs" with the measures and is committed to an "open and constructive" dialogue with the government and sector authorities. The company also revealed that the government has decided to exercise new golden powers regarding "development, investment and maintenance plans for its networks and plants in order to preserve their operation
