TIM investors advised not to vote for Vivendi list

Shareholders of Telecom Italia (TIM) should not to back a list of board candidates proposed by Vivendi, according to recommendations issued by two leading advisory firms. Reuters reports that Glass Lewis and ISS advised shareholders to instead support an alternative list of candidates presented by funds association Assogestioni. The French media giant is TIM's top shareholder with a stake of nearly 24 percent and earlier this month submitted a list of candidates for the 04 May meeting topped by its chief executive Arnaud de Puyfontaine.
