TIM signs FTTH deal with Italian condominium association

Telecom Italia (TIM) has signed an agreement with national condominiums' association Anaci to work together to accelerate the rollout of FTTH technology throughout Italy. As part of the deal, the operator will install and maintain the fibre network connecting the street cabinet to the buildings at no cost to the condominiums. The agreement is limited to the 100 cities included in the government's FTTH development plan, which envisages speeds of 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps.
