TIM testing 10 Gbps FTTH in Rome, Turin and Genoa

Telecom Italia (TIM) has begun testing a symmetric 10 Gbps FTTH service in the cities of Rome, Turin and Genoa. Following an initial trial, TIM said it will give its customers and other operators using its wholesale network the possibility of accessing the service in the three launch cities and will be testing the technology in front of millions of viewers during popular talent show 'Amici'.
