TIM to start charging fixed clients every 28 days

Monday 27 February 2017 | 11:55 CET | News
Telecom Italia (TIM) has announced that it will start charging fixed telephony customers on a 28-day rather than a monthly basis starting from 01 April. In a statement, the company said the change will result in an annual price increase of 8.6 percent a year for subscribers. However, TIM added that customers who still receive paper invoices and pay via postal money orders will save up to EUR 20 a year because they will pay commission costs every 56 days rather than monthly.
