TIM, Vodafone, Wind Tre and Fastweb fined over misleading fibre advertising

Italian antitrust watchdog AGCM has fined the operators Telecom Italia (TIM), Vodafone, Wind Tre and Fastweb a total of EUR 875,000 over the use of misleading advertising in the promotion of their respective fibre-optic services. All four operators received hefty fines for using unfair commercial practices to promote their fibre-optic offers after receiving warnings earlier this year.
