TIP open transport project group expands scope, partners, products in 2020

The Telecom Infra Project's Open Optical & Packet Transport (OOPT) project group announced an update on the latest OOPT community achievements. The OOPT mission is to make disaggregated transport technologies that are more flexible, efficient and open. Service and technology providers continue to adopt these products, OOPT said. Consequently it saw significant progress in all OOPT subgroups, including Phoenix and Disaggregated Open Routers (DOR).
