TNM Mpamba removes transaction fees amid Covid-19

Malawian operator TNM's mobile transfer service TNM Mpamba said it has removed transaction fees applicabla for some services offered on Mpamba, to help people during the coronavirus pandemic. The move means the company will be foregoing revenue in excess of MWK 80 million per month for the next three months. TNM CEO Michiel Buitelaar said all person-to-person transfers within the Mpamba network will be free until 23 July.
